Alongside the launch, Village is hosting a live panel discussion amidst tech and fashion experts including designer Golan Frydman of Fyodor Golan, Brooke Roberts-Islam, fashion tech innovator and founder of Techstyler, Francesca Rosella the creative director of CuteCircuit and Fashion Enterprise’s Ishwari Thopte.  Lend an ear as industry experts dissect fashion’s ever-evolving relationship with technology, unearthing the impact it has on the global industry and how consumers may view fashion shows in the future.

Fyodor Golan’s second season won the Fashion Fringe Award and in 2012 was the youngest label featured in V&A’s Fashion in Motion exhibition. The designers have shown with the British Fashion Council for the last two seasons, which included collaborations with global brands such as Coca-Cola, My Little Pony and Transformers. They recently hosted pop-up spaces in Selfridges London and Harvey Nichols Hong Kong.

Brooke Roberts is an award-winning digital knitwear designer and consultant, with over a decade of experience. She recently began developing “smart textiles” and wearables through the Brooke Roberts Innovation Agency. Brooke is also a fashion tech journalist for The Huffington Post and for her own blog, Techstyler.

Ishwari Thopte is the Head of Fashion Tech at The Centre for Fashion Enterprise (CFE) managing their fashion and tech programs and events.  Ishwari works at the confluence of fashion, technology and digital, by creating a thriving cross- sector community in London and helping CFE lead the fashion tech revolution.
